Hotel Information, Policies and Procedures
- Hockey Time Productions has secured blocks of rooms at various hotels for our "Out of Town" guests and earns commission on these bookings.
- As a condition of acceptance, all "Out of Town" teams, defined as having a home rink that is
greater than 75 miles from the primary tournament arena, are required to reserve rooms
through Hockey Time at a listed/approved tournament hotel at the listed tournament rate.
- PLEASE NOTE: Teams that are less than 75 miles from the primary tournament arena wishing
to procure accommodations will have no minimum room night or 2-night minimum stay
requirement. "In town" teams wishing to procure accommodations should complete and
submit the Hockey Time "online" room list.
- All lists must be submitted through the log in area of the Hockey Time website.
- A minimum of 24 paid "room nights" are required for all "out of town" teams. A paid "room
night" is defined as "1 paid room for 1 night". For example, 12 paid room nights for 2 nights
would equate to 24 paid room nights. The minimum paid room night requirement is designed
to include teams that may have a "short" roster by design or by other circumstances such as
injuries or absences. It is not to be construed as a "loophole" or invitation for individuals to
participate in the tournament and then secure accommodations by alternative methods.
- PLEASE NOTE: Teams participating under BOGO DISCOUNT PROGRAM are required to have a
minimum of 30 paid room nights average to maintain BOGO discount eligibility.
- Procurement of a room(s) through any other method, including use of hotel reward points to
secure accommodations at a Hockey Time, or other hotel, is not permitted. Failure to comply
and/or attempts to circumvent procedures and obligations will result in expulsion from the
tournament. Under these circumstances, no registration fees will be refunded.
- All Hockey Time participating hotels have a 2-night minimum stay requirement.

All suites are equipped with either a king size bed and a pull out sofa (comfortably sleeps two children) or 2 double beds and a pull out sofa ($119 per night). Both room types are very spacious and accommodating but a limited number of rooms with two double beds and a pull out sofa are available each weekend at a slightly higher rate BR>
Invariably, most managers request that the vast majority of their rooms in their respective block be equipped with rooms consisting of two double beds and a pull out sofa. This is not always possible, so hotel management will assign rooms in an equitable fashion where each team staying at the hotel will receive some rooms consisting of two double beds (if requested ) and a pull out sofa and some that are equipped with a king size bed and a pull out sofa. Our experience has been that often times the king size bed and pull out sofa room type is preferred for families of four or less due to the comfort that the king provides for two adults when compared to the standard double bed.
With amenities such as two cable televisions, high-speed Internet, and Two-line telephone with data ports and voicemail, we want to ensure you can communicate effectively with the world outside the hotel - while still relaxing in traditional Embassy Suites luxury.
